Russia was terrible!

Maybe the extra game will do/has done Canada some good. Onto the semis!

Ovechkin was totally invisible.

First period by our guys was some of the best Olympic hockey I have seen.

Very impressive game, Canada. You guys had your way with the Russians, thought they would be your stiffest competition. Just hope the US can match it and we get a rematch for the gold.

All lines are clicking now, I am happy and feeling confident that the team is playing the way we knew they were capable of.

I would not say Babcock but more Yzerman putting his foot down.

Amazing how a team can gel when the coach leaves the lines alone and doesn't attempt to win the game through coaching. Letting the players play is a good thing.

That said Bab's did a good job of line matchups, props on that.

Iggy with a hell of a post

Fantastic game by all, finally looking like a real team Canada!

Game would have been much more interesting if Bryzgalov started, either way the Russian's were completely outmatched on the blueline.

Congratulations!

But what a scheissburger for the general hockey fan. Canada made Russia look so bad. So, so bad. Worst team in the tournament.

Holy schnikeys, Milbury calls the Ruskies Eurotrash on the NBC broadcast, at least that their game was Eurotrash and he expected more from them.
