Default Bummer for Hummer

Looks like the sale to a Chinese conglomerate didn't go through, and GM will be winding down Hummer.

Small-membered roidheads around the world are devastated I'm sure.

You'll hear them coming.

$4000 stereo system in a $1500 car. Never ceases to amaze me.

I followed a classic ######bag in a hummer down McLeod Trail today towards downtown...

Started off from behind him with the classic swinging truck nuts and custom plate.

Once I got alongside I saw the next progression in the tap out sticker on the drivers rear widow....

As I passed I noticed the soul patch goatee and highlighted blond hair and then it was confirmed.

I cant say I'm sad to hear this. Of course, I'm a bit biased by the fact that I've NEVER seen a Hummer out in the bush during any of my many escapades. And I still hold a grudge against the guy I saw with the lowered Hummer. Just a travesty, IMO.

H1 is completely different - that's like getting a surplus tank. H2 or H3 = loser.

Saw a bunch of them off-road near Moab, Utah a few years back. It was nice to see them doing what they were made for. Soccer moms driving them is just a travesty.

The H1's were definitely something you could respect.....simple, effective, utility vehicles with a purpose. The rest though are definitely pure plastic trash....not unlike the Toyota FJ Cruiser...or well, quite a number SUVs these days.
