Mine crashes like every hour, while my internet on my laptop is fine.

Could always be worse.

You have to pay for xbox live? Why do people do that over the PSN?...Serious question.

How can you be serious? When have the words "Microsoft" and "Free" ever been in the same sentence?

Because my friends have xbox's, and because I can communicate with said friends.

Oh, and PSN isn't going to be free for long (bare-bones PSN will be).

It's only like $4/month, if you can't afford that, then you should be living in my refrigerator box.

Never had a problem with my xbox live. There are some modems that work better than others, and make sure all the right ports are forwarded.... I have no problem paying 5 dollars a month for xbox live....

It was my cable, and nothing to do with XBOX.

I've never had trouble with XBOX Live other than yesturday. As for paying the monthly charge. Well worth it. PSN isn't even on the same level as XBOX Live. It's the biggest gap between the two systems.

Yeah, I got a chain mail on my PS3 about that... Too bad the date came and passed and I don't have an issue....

I think it's a scare tactic of the 360 fan boys

The only thing worth paying for live for is 1vs100. Everything online that's worthwhile is available on both consoles from what I see.

I really like Xbox Live. I'm a PS3 user but i've always really liked how integrated Live is. PSN is free and that is a wonderful bonus, but I'm the kind of person who doesn't mind paying for polish.

PSN used to be quite gibbled in comparison to Live, but the gap is closing. It still isn't where Live is, but it's good for people who otherwise wouldn't pay to play games online.

I welcome the rumors that psn might start charging. If the rumored additions turn out to be true, I wouldn't mind paying for them.
