Wow...who knew there was a hate on for the Panthers? Bell shows his true colors by dropping the gloves with Jokinen in his first game against his former team.
The result sucks, but it's good to see Doan pot 2 in his first game in a Blue's uniform

Ovechkin who?
Jackets get an important 2 points by beating the top team in the conference 5-2 but fail to make up ground on Dallas.
3 Stars
1 - Marc Savard (CBJ)
2 - Thomas Vanek (CBJ)
3 - Steve Eminger (CBJ)
Because of his great, we have rewarded fatty with a trade to Philly. Later fatso.

Get use to losing. You are just keeping 1st overall warm for me until the Jackets are ready. I've already done it once with the Panthers and I will do it again! MUHAHAHAHA

Not yet, but it has made me wonder how you can properly type with bifocals.

The offense decided to show up....but still no sign of any defense or goaltending.
Story of the game:
Evgeni Nabokov (PIT), 6 saves from 11 shots - (0.545), L, 28-18-6, 29:20 minutes
Combined with:
Power Play
Pittsburgh Penguins - 0 on 0 Attempt(s) - 0.00%
Washington Capitals - 3 on 5 Attempt(s) - 60.00%
How do we not get one PP all game???

Nice win over the Ducks. Kiprusoff fails to hold Chris Osgoods jock strap yet again. Once in awhile Saku Koivu plays okay and makes me not hate him for a day.

Jason Spezza leads the Flames to a 7-6 shoot out win over the Canes. Spezza had 3 goals and an assist in the game. First time in about 2 months that Cam Ward wasn't very good.

Thrashers continue rolling with a 7-3 win over the Devils. Datsyuk leads the way with 4 points. A rematch tomorrow in the home and home set.

My apologies as I think that I forgot to send in my lines yesterday! This is the craziest time of year for me (not that my olympic addiction helps this particular year!).
Preds win another game and move further from the Taylor hall position!

Rangers 6 - Bruins 1
Rangers came out flying today ... scoring four times in the first period. Nik Backstrom continued his strong play....
Rangers continue to generate offense from all four lines. Which is a good problem. No one on the roster is red hot but the goals come from various players. Today Tim Connolly and Todd White lead the way...
3 Stars
1 - Todd White (NYR) 1 goal / 3 assists and +5
2 - Tim Connolly (NYR) 2 goals / 1 assist and +4
3 - Mark Streit (NYR) 1 goal / 1 assist and +5
News and Notes
Rangers have made it known they have too many forwards... would like to send one or two of them for a higher end forward.
