Burrows, Drury and Malone have been underperforming and we'd like to look at moving 1 or all three of these guys.Drop me a PM while I'm working today, or catch me on MSN after 3pm today

Malone has been shipped off to Montreal, along with Del Zotto and an 2011 2nd rounder in exchange for Shane Doan, Carl Gunnersen and Shawn Lalonde. Thanks for working with me simmer

Like Spike said, the Habs and Blues hooked up in a deal that will hopefully help both teams see some success. Doan struggled coming to Montreal and Malone has struggled in St.Louis so hopefully this is what both teams needed.

We had to give up Gunnarsson who has a wicked name and is playing decent for Toronto. Shawn Lalonde is also a nice prospect but he's a ways away since the Hawks blueline is so deep. The big piece coming back for us here was Del Zotto. Whenever you can get an ECHL'er who is playing full-time in the NHL it is a good move. While Zotto has cooled off recently and has some defensive struggles, he is still a solid young hockey player so it was a good move for us.

Thanks Spike.
