I'm in Tuscany and everything is OK here. I do recall, however, 30-60 minutes ago, my lights dimmed briefly but not long enough for anything to go out.

Ice fog on the power lines perhaps?

...and one every couple years after that. The batteries have a finite lifespan and amount to most of the cost of the unit.

The new goggles also do nothing.

Chestermere was out for a couple hours at least, broken pole and a transformer fire apparently.

Found out that while I can surf the net and everything even if all my power goes out, my computer's UPS does only last about 15 minutes lol (I was actually impressed I got that much considering it's 4 years old).

I found APC replacement batteries to be surprisingly affordable - I had a client with a dead battery in their APC unit, and I fully expected to be recommending a brand new UPS rather than replacing the battery, but they were actually quite affordable, less than 1/2 the cost of a new UPS. This was in their 500 VA LS line, so maybe they jack the prices out of proportion on the consumer grade stuff, I dunno - but the LS series are certainly affordable overall for home use too. Batteries last 5 years on average, not a couple.

Lost power again 2x tonight.

Before last night/this morning I have been showing 123V volts with nothing on in my place, most of the today have been showing 115V.

After the 2 power outages tonight I'm back up to 123V, Possible Maint?

Went into the office to get a bit of work tonight. A couple hours in and the power goes out. No elevator to get into the parking garage (stairs are in the exterior of building). Parking garage door doesn't work either so no way of getting my car out. Hanging out in the office playing scrabble on my phone is not awesome.

From who, APC direct? Generally I find that Dell has good deals on their APC UPS's and just grab a new one there. I think my 750VA was like $60.

To be fair my elcheapo 350VA started whining for a new battery after 2 years.

I don't see much (Edgemont). It goes out on occasion, but comes back ~1 minute later.
