I posted in the poker thread and because I got some interest there I figured people may look here as well. My lacrosse team is holding a fundraiser on June 16th at the stampede casino for a texas holdem poker tourney winner takes all format. See below for details. If you are interested you can buy tickets on the website or I can arrange to meet up with you personaly. If you buy them on the website please send me a quick PM as each player needs to sell at least 4 tickets and it would be great to get credit for it.
What is it?
Texas Holdem' poker tournament, just like you see on TV. For the price of the ticket you'll receive a pile of poker chips to play with ($5,000.00 worth to be exact). You then use those chips to work your way to the final table where it's winner-take-all to the tune of $1,000.00! Big and small blinds will be set by the Stampede Casino tournament manager and there will be plenty of opportunities to re-buy ($20.00 per re-buy) so you can stay in the tournament longer. The tournament will be over by 10:00pm.

- Re-buy Cost: $20.00 for $2,500.00 in chips, or $40.00 for $5,000.00 in chips
