Default Anyone else going through Golf withdrawals?

Man, with the current state of my favorite hockey team, I miss the ability to go hit the course and forget about all else. I'm an improving golfer and like to play every opportunity I get. I played at least 20 different courses last year as well as about 50 rounds at my home course and it really helped me pass the time an kept my mind occupied with something other than the nightmare of my house fire.
Who else is having withdrawals? I can't wait until I'm working an ex-pat job somewhere near a golf course that I can play 4 seasons a year!

The cruelest part of buying new golf equipment on Boxing Day is having to wait 5 months to test them under battlefield conditions. Domes are just too short to really make sense of a new driver and 3 wood.

(Yes, I know I could go to the heated mats at RCGA but it's tough to get a spot. Or go to phoenix, but I can't)

I generally just go buy a bucket of used range balls and then grab a 12-case and head to the roof of my apartment....

I've got a box of farmers balls (old range balls) and hit them into one of the open pits at work, just not the same though...

All you have to do is drive an hour and 15 minutes East and Sonora Dunes is open in Osoyoos right now. It's far from the Okanagans best, but hey it's open!

Penticton GC is apparently open now too. I might have to do that this weekend. Maybe Michaelbrook ranch in Kelowna will be open in the next week or 2 as well.
