There's some reviews up already for this game. Not much to say other than it's a must buy. Getting this for sure as soon as it's out as I really enjoyed the first one.

i picked up the first game in anticipation of this sequel and wanted to get into the story, but the reverse happened and i hated Uncharted so much that now i have zero interest in this one. least i'll end up saving $60 now though

This will be Game of the Year.

I can't wait until this comes out. The first game was great, this one is going to be miles ahead. The character animations, the graphics, well written story, level design, voice acting, and gameplay all look to be top notch for this installment.

This was another review for it. It's out of 20

I said it in the uncharted 1 thread. there aren't any in either game.

That's too bad, this one is going to be really good. You should at least try the online demo coming at the end of the month. I have early access to it and it's been a blast. Reminds me of a more agile version of SOCOM. Here are some pics I took of one of the matches.

All those things are three generation old shaders and SSAO and high dynamic range effects from a very old Nvidia platform but I have to admit, they do a good job in making use of the PS3 architecture and tweaking the gamma and color saturation to make everything have a lot more depth to it than many PS3 games. Uncharted really is one of the best looking PS3 games because it is solely designed for PS3 unlike most other games were are often bad ports because developers don't know how to program for the Cell Processor...Take Ghostbusters for example which actually renders at 75% reduced resolution on the PS3 with reduced textures and far less effects.

I wish PC games would get this kind of attention but everything is focused on consoles these days despite the fact that PC technology is far more advanced and capable.

I still wish Uncharted and Assasin's Creed had first person modes as I can't play 3rd person for any length of time.

Was the resolution of the first Uncharted even 1080p? I remember it was 720p on the back of the box. There were an awful lot of jaggies and no visible antialiasing.

Tried the multiplayer beta yesterday with a friend. Had a ridiculously fun time. Co-op is the best thing they put into the game since I'm not a huge fan of listening to morons over the mic in deathmatch.

Anyways this game looks to be game of the year(for ps3 at least), the metacritic rating is pretty high and when you have backing from bungie and infinity ward the game has to be good.

That's what has always bugged me about pc gaming. If you want the best graphics you need to install more ram, upgrade your graphics card...get that damn physx chip installed etc. etc. Console games get more attention because they are programmed with what resources they have available at the time....and the graphics always improve as the life cycle goes on...no need for upgrades.

I was trying to avoid this game, but birthday gift cards and a ride to the mall at lunch are about as close to divine intervention as I can imagine. Some higher being wants me to get this game.

Ummm, I'm pretty sure their are Nazis (dead ones at least, no not zombie nazis, regular dead) in the first one for sure in the second one. Also monsters um yes.

Yes, there are nazis, that statement was in regards to the zombies.

Anyways I'm halfway done the single player and it's been quite a ride.
