Free Motley Crue Tickets
Not sure if anyone cares, but it looks like all you have to do is pay $7.25 in fees for a pair of second level tickets. Found this on a different website and CP may have some fans of them, joe perry or airbourne.

Damn, thanks for posting that. Just grabbed a couple.
I skipped out last few times they came to town but really wanted to hit this show, the only thing stopping me was Vince's crappy voice and the ticket price. Thanks again!

no worries, I'd be pissed if I had paid for tickets already and then saw this.

I saw them here a couple years ago and didn't think they were that good live and I'm a fan. There was only a couple songs in the whole show that seemed to capture that raw Crue essence.

A fata from the ticket forum. (no big deal.)
In case anybody who bought tickets is mad- the free ones at 7:00 this morning were row 23- so about as far away from the stage as you can get.

I just found 2 row 16 tickets in section 225. I only have to pay $2 service charge for both. haha
I still wouldn't waste my time seeing them, Vince's voice is ruddy awful these days, and the live sound sucks.

I must have to set the time in my personal settings, always showing 7 hours ahead of MST.
3thirty, thanks for posting on the Off Topic board though, I only look at the ticket board maybe once a week but I come here all the time.

I was able to get sec 225 row 11. This is probably the only way I would pay to see them.

I've seen Motley Crue three times already. First time back in 2005 on their Carnival Of Sins tour, second time with Aerosmith in 2006, and the last time was 2008 when they were touring in support of their new album.
I wouldn't even pay $7 to see a setlist that would be similar to that of the 2008 setlist. If they had come out with a new cd, I may have considered it.

Yeah, I had a great time. First big concert I ever saw was Motley Crue 20 years ago on the Feelgood tour, I'm not old yet but getting there.
Crowd was very responsive, almost crazy at points. I wasn't expecting such a good reaction since these guys have pretty much over-saturated the market lately with 3 visits in something like a year. But the set was full of great songs, even the 2 new songs off Saint of Los Angeles were damn good.
The production was very scaled back from the past tours, I got the feeling this tour was a money maker before they take a break. No video screens and a basic stage but they did have enough damn concussion bombs. Tommy's piano wasn't even real, synth sound coming out of what was probably an empty piano. Not a bid deal, makes things easier and it's only for 1/2 of Home Sweet Home. Sound was pretty bad in the 200s off to the side where i was, but for $7 I can't complain.
Vince Neil is bloated and his weak voice gets so bad when he takes more than 3 steps, never was a fan of the guy but he tries. Tommy Lee is damn fool but one of the best rock drummers out there, just watching that guy play drums is enough reason to make it out and see them. Nikki and Mick are always solid, great songwriter in Nikki and cement spine is a bit underrated, does a fine job.
Joe Perry played a fair amount of Aerosmith which was nice. Kind of hard for a guitar player to carry an entire set but I didn't get bored, the German singer for hire was decent.
Airbourne were awesome, hard working Aussies who belt out good ol' rock n' rock in the vein of AC/DC but not so close that I would call them ripoffs. They can write material and deliver it like maniacs, loved them.
