Default Canada For Haiti - TV Fundraiser

Anyone else watching the fundraiser?

Big fan of that K'naan song.
I know a lot of people here are the type to already have acted and put forth donations to those in need, but if anyone wants to donate, here's how:

Call 1-877-514-2484 to donate or go to www.CanadaForHatia.com

Government will match your donation as well, so everything gets doubled. Just read you can even donate Airmiles (200 miles = $25)

I tuned into the US version as it was on earlier and made a donation. Didn't realize Ottawa was doubling ours

The Canadian one was kind of odd, with all those people just standing there, and only three performances. The US telethon had a lot more performances, as well as good stories.

I guess I've been watching the American one for the past 10-15 Min.

It's great that the "Stars" come out and man the phones,ETC. for stuff like this, But It really makes me Gag! when an Oscar winning Actress can't even fake interest in a caller's (making a donation) story about their contribution to helping the cause. Julia Roberts is the ALL TIME over rated Pig in all of Hollywood. Good for you Julia! We really think you care!

...Then I saw footage of stephen (SP) Speilberg taking a call from somebody who was donating, He was quite obviously appreciative and genuine in his comments to the caller.

Sting was awesome. Beyonce was brutal. Madge is doing pretty good right now!,,,weird.

God Bless all those in Haiti who are in need.

Where's the green text? Clearly the best vocalist of the night. Trying to put the word "Haiti" in the song was dumb, but still far and away the best vocal performance of the night along with Hudson.
