Default Poutine attacks teen at KFC

http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2...20716-qmi.html

Looks like the father wants some $$$ from KFC. If he gets his way, melted cheese will be a thing of the past! Seems completely unreasonable.

You could get the same thing if you had a seizure while holding a hot coffee. I'm curious if the kid was keeping up with the seizure medication and if its not treatable why were they alone.

Uggh, she had a seizure and you blame KFC for having hot gravy to melt the cheese?

Kill all lawyers and this guy too.

This guy is a moron, but having said that, I'm glad the poutine that I drunkenly hid in my pants to sneak it into a casino wasn't that hot.

Anyone else get a poutine craving after reading the article?

You’ve got hot gravy and hot cheese, two really hot elements in there.

I'm not sure this guy needs money to teach me the lesson that hot gravy and melted cheese is hot. How could this information have helped the girl in this case?

"hold on a second, I hear piping hot gravy can be hot, so I'm going to have my seizure over here".

While I genuinely feel sorry for the girl (it isn't like she could help it), to try and point the finger at someone is beyond ridiculous.

The article doesn't say that they're suing. The dad is just pissed off right now and wanted an apology from the manager. I could see myself getting irrationally pissed off if that happened to my kid. He'll cool off, I'm sure. And c'mon, the manager could have apologized, even though it's not really his fault. It's just what you do in a situation like this.

From a practical standpoint: How hot does gravy have to be to give someone second degree burns?
Having never shoved my face into a bowl of piping hot KFC gravy, I'm not sure what the effects would be. But if its cool enough for someone to put into their mouth, one would think it would be cool enough to come into contact with their skin and not cause it to burn several layers, no?

Now from a more philosophical standpoint: Could God microwave KFC 'gravy' so hot that even he himself could not eat it?
