Default Dexter has Cancer

Michael C. Hall revealed today that he has been battling Hodgkins Lymphoma. Apparently he is in remission right now. Let's hope for the best for him!

Not to be nit-picky but I think it would be more respectful and appropriate, in the thread title, to refer to him as Michael C. Hall rather than Dexter.

I hope he can pull through, fantastic actor.

Well allow to me clarify. Dexter is a blood-spatter analyst/serial killer who lives in Miami, and is a fictional character on a hit TV series. Michael C. Hall is a extremely talented actor, who, apparently is suffering from a serious illness.

Michael C. Hall has Cancer, Dexter does not.

Michael C. Hall "Dexter" has Cancer

Wow, I certainly wish him the best and hopefuly a speedy recovery. I'm a huge fan of the show but I wouldn't want my well wishes (If I could indeed offer them to Michael) to be confused as though I was more concerned about "Dexter's" return than him as a person.

Get well soon Michael.

BTW: All kidding aside, But isn't there "Good Hodgkins" and "Bad Hodgkins" ?

Mario Lemiux also had Hodgkins and seems to have recovered quite well.

Or at least call him by his better role, David Fisher.

Best actor on TV right now. Don't understand how he isn't getting movie roles right and left.

Not to be nit-picky, but I am pretty sure Miami isn't yours.

Sucks about the actor known as Dexter. I just started watching the show and I am sure it is a TV version of crack.

A link would be nice.

Anyways, I hope he recovers soon, he's easily one of my favourite actors.

Great news that he's in remission.

Love it when people are able to keep this stuff private. Felt really bad for Patrick Swayze.

I'm guessing Hall will be fine.

It would be more respectful and appropriate if you didn't get all nit-picky when a thread is in regard to a person's health.

Heres hoping for a full recoverery for Michael.

And stop b!tching at the OP for using Dexter in the thread title, I'm the biggest Dexter fan but I may have had to think a little to remember his name.

I used Dexter in the thread title, not when I addressed the issue in my post. I feel bad for him, he's only 38. My brother in laws best friend just died of this same cancer at 38 years old 2 weeks before Christmas this year, so it kinda hit home.

I thought you just spoiled a season of Dexter for me in a thread title. I have been not watching Dexter all season as it is too hard for me to watch an episode and then wait a week (I loath this). I am planning on buying the entire season at the end of the season and watching them all back to back to back like I did with last season (far more enjoyable for my personality type).

I was pretty mad when I saw the title. Had to think for a while before I opened the thread to see if you were really dumb enough to ruin the season for me. Happily you are not dumb, you are just informative.

Sorry to hear about the cancer, glad though that it is in remission. A great actor and a great show.

Easily one of my favorite shows and actors. Here's to him recovering.

Sadly, motley crue continues to breathe.

Interesting. That's one slide I doubt he'll want to keep.

All the best to him.
