So far CP (well, mostly Rico) has been great at getting me the obscure parts I need. Here's the story- I happened to get a new monitor; and it has a native resolution of 1600X900. Unfortunately the onboard video card I have can't handle that resolution; and otherwise the computer works just fine for me.

Because I'm using a Dell Optiplex, I need a better video card. It has to be AGP (or even old(er) school PCI would work. It can be DVI or VGA. And of course it has to handle 1600X900 resolution.

PM me if you have anything- and how much you want for it.

There is a chance I still have a couple packed away in my storage. I will have to look for them when I get a chance to get over there but they are an ATI 9800 All in Wonder and an ATI 9600 .. if I remember correctly. If they will help and I still have them they are yours. I will have to send them to you from the coast however.

This is a bit of a needle in a haystack; very few video cards are made low profile. Just to give you guys an idea of what I need, have a look at this auction on eBay:

I was hoping to not have to spend $50 if I could help it; as this would be one of those parts that would not really be useful; like asking for an ISA modem.

Ahh now I see "low profile" .. sorry I dont have that. I did find on top of the others that I seem to have an old rage pro card too. Funny how that stuff adds up and I havent dug into a computer in a few years!!
