If you're up in that area for pizza/pasta/greek, and not eating at Spiros, shame on you.

That Crete Souvlaki's the one that's in that gas station, right? Buggers tried to rip me off once.

Haha! My friend's cousin used to bartend there (Vans). One day we were there drinking and I got hungry. I asked her what's good and she told me to go to McDonalds.

I almost died after eating at Crete Souvlaki in 2003. I was on the toilet for a week straight and lost 15 lbs. I haven't eaten there since, obviously. But the souvlaki was really good. Was eating there pretty regularly before then. Clearly I was playing with fire when I was eating Souvlaki from a gas station...

I always drive by wondering how it stayed in business. I have never seen customers there and thy always offer deals. (not a good sign for a restaurant). Thought it was a front for something.

Crete Soulvlaki/ the gas station was originally owned by a greek guy (or his family). Our family ate there on a weekly basis. Once it got bought out by the guys mentioned above, things went downhill and got sketchy. Havn't eaten there in about 5 years and don't plan on going at all.

I love the comment "go back to your home country." I'm sure no white man has ever had any restaurant violations.

Haha now comon was green text really necessairy? It is hilarious though, looked at their violations and there's so many they only list the ones going back to ner the begining of October of this year. When do you hit the point where it's alright that's enough you're banned from operating a food service establishment for life?

Well at least Hanni's and Volos have relatively clean records.
I tried to copy and paste Vans' violations just from the month of october and calgarypuck denied the post because it was 13,000 characters long and they only allow 10,000 character posts. Learn something new every day!

CHR should put a skull and cross-bones decal in the window of every restaurant for every violation. We have the right to know.

In California, restaurants are given letter grades, and the grade must be prominently displayed.
