In a move that shoudl not shock the hockey world, GM Penney has signed star forward Patrick Kane to a CPHL contract. Terms of the contract have not been released but it is expected he will receive a life time supply of taxi vouchers.

Patrick Kane has shown he can be a star player and with the Jackets sitting out of a playoff position, he might help push them into one of the final playoff spots.

"There is a lot of hockey to go. If Kane was on this team the whole season we might be sitting in a playoff position right now. Having a star like him sitting on the farm is not helping anyone. He needs to play and we intend to give him every opportunity to do so" says Penney.

I am only 5 points out of a playoff spot. He should have been playing all year IMO and if he was we probably would be in a playoff position. I play this game to try and win and he can help win hockey games.
