CP Yahoo NFL Pool: Last Week Reg Season!!!
Posted on the Yahoo Pool, but no one reads that...
Another season title for yours truely, but what's more amazing... heading into the last week, I am the only one to clinch.
6 tied at 7-5. Top 6 make it to the playoffs. One team with a 7-5 reccord wont make it. Oh, and Pagal wont either.
Who's in? Who's out?
Tha Prototypes vs. toonmaster*
Suave* vs. SportsJunkies*
VANPATSFAN vs. Montana Maulers*
The Pagal vs. AaronSJ
CrackerPi vs. Jiggy_12
Postal* vs. crossed*
The winners of Suave vs. SportsJunkies and Postal vs. crossed will make it through. The loosing team will have to have more total points than the other. Keep in mind too that toonmaster and Montana Maulers will have to win their games too, otherwise they better hope they have enough points in the end.
Interesting last week. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before.
CrackerPi will be religated, if we're still doing that... The Pagal, AaronSJ, VANPATSFAN, and Jiggy_12 all playing to stay in the top grouping. A loss by Jiggy_12 and everyone else is safe. A win, and it's going to come down to points. Important game for The Pagal and AaronSJ. Winner stays no matter what.

In the minor league pool, the top 4 are clinched. I am technically the only person that has absolutely no chance to make it.
There is 2 at 6-6, and then 5 at 5-7.
Swayze11 (6-6) currently 5th (1314.48pts) vs FurnaceFace (5-7) currently 8 (1245.12pts)
Sled's Marauders (6-6) currently 6 (1130.89pts) vs Me (4-8) last place
Breesus Christ (5-7) currently 7 (1274.27pts) vs Montana Moe* currently 4 (7-5)
Azzkicking Mudders (5-7) currently 9 (1192.03pts) vs Brown Chiefs (5-7) currently 11 (1102.77pts)
Durchfall (5-7) currently 10 (1191.50) vs FlickeredFins* (7-5) currently 3
Even the top spot is still open
Rubes* (9-3) 1st vs SayItAin'tSo* (8-4) 2nd
There could be 5 people tied with a 6-7 record and only 2 spots available for them. Could be interesting or could not even matter if Swayze and Sled both win.
*means clinched

Does the relegation / opposite of relegation happen after playoffs are done?

I believe if you make the finals, you move up. Not sure about moving down. Bottom two from reg season move down, I think.

I think the top 3 move up and bottom 3 move down. I finished 3rd in the b pool last year and moved up to the a division this time around.
as for the A league this year, the parity is pretty good, makes for an exciting finish. Although me and Postal are both 7-5, i think our points advantage (postal points a lot better than mine) move us into the playoffs regardless of what happens. Not going to lie, I would rather win and somehow secure the playoff bye, but i'm not going to complain as long as i make it.

Well, I need a huge game out of Donald Driver tomorrow night to get to 8-5. I find it hard to believe Vanpatsfan was 5-7 going into this week with the lineup he has. Wow.
Steve Smith dropped a TD in the Giants game that would've made things a whole lot easier.

BEFORE MNF!!!
Tha Prototypes 93.89
toonmaster 70.70
(toon needs a huge MNF from Aaron Rodgers... HUGE game needed)
Suave 83.13
SportsJunkies 123.98
(Junkies are done inflicting damage, Suave needs BAL D to step up in a unrealistically big way.)
VANPATSFAN 142.58
Montana Maulers 123.22
(VANPATS have done all they can. The Maulers need Double D to light it up.)
The Pagal 54.55
AaronSJ 100.65
(This is what you call not showing up to your own funeral. Atlest 46 points are needed by Ray Rice... no pressure.)
CrackerPi 85.38
Jiggy_12 111.58
(Cracker could play spoiler with McGahee. Jiggy can buffer some of that with Crosby left to play.)
Postal 75.86
crossed 99.26
(Postal is done. No one left to play, Crossed still has GB's DEF. You're welcome for that waiver wire drop.)
*1. Tha Prototypes 9-3-0 1326.29
2. Postal 7-5-0 1407.07
3. crossed 7-5-0 1368.59
4. SportsJunkies 7-5-0 1348.08
5. toonmaster 7-5-0 1285.52
6. Montana Maulers 7-5-0 1281.01
7. Suave 7-5-0 1206.99
Looks like Junkies and Crossed are through. Postal could be OK with points, Suave may be the odd man out depending on what we see tonight.
8. The Pagal 5-7-0 1262.94
9. AaronSJ 5-7-0 1129.38
10. VANPATSFAN 5-7-0 1124.35
11. Jiggy_12 4-8-0 1241.09
Pagal came up small this week. Jiggy, AaronSJ and VANPATS all won, which means it should come down to points. Jiggy should be safe. VANPATS may have just done enough to squeak through as well.
12. CrackerPi 2-10-0 955.70

Ya, the minor league pool was sure damn close. It's looking like I'll get to 6-7 but how does a tie-breaker even work? Total points?

I believe the tie breakers are based on total points.
If GB D can get me at least 6 points tonight I end up in second and get the Bye for the first round of the playoffs
I will thank you for the GB defense as long as i get a thanks for Fred Jackson

The one day you need your big guys to step up... and they don't. 5 points by Peyton. Thumbs down. It's not over, but the fat lady is tuning up.

Sad sad state of affairs for our teams the last couple weeks. Yikes (especially after such a great regular season).
