Default Hit and Run incident- please read

My girlfriend's 1999 Honda CRV was just involved in a hit and run. Some idiot fishtailed around the corner and knocked her CRV back into another vehicle, damaging the bumper and grill of both vehicles.

One guy partially saw the incident and said the guy was driving a black or dark blue 1997-2000ish van (he thought it was a Dodge Caravan but wasn't 100% sure). As mentioned, unfortunately no one caught a plate. There would be damage to the driver-side quarter panel of the van based on what happened.

The incident occurred on 16A St NW (right near Confederation Park) so if there's anyone in the area that can keep an eye out for a vehicle matching that description it'd be very helpful.

I posted this on beyond.ca too so hopefully we might get lucky.

Thats not going to be a good enough description to prove anything.

Looking for a dark van thats kind oldish but not a complete beater with damage on the driverside-ish.

There's probably 100+ vans that would fit that description in the city

A buddy of mine was rear ended a few years ago. They agreed to pull into a parking lot and work out the details. As soon as the guy got back in his car he peeled off. When my buddy reported it he was told that nothing can be done without either a plate # or an actual piece of the vehicle. I hope you're not, but you may be out of luck.

Probably not too many with 1999 Honda CRV paint smeared on it though.

Sorry, If I see a darkish van thats kinda old but not a beater with specifically 1999 Honda CRV paint on it I'll be sure to chase him down.

I just hope I dont accidentally harass someone with '98 or '00 CRV paint smeared on there van. Oh man that would be embarrassing.
