Default Tried any new alcohol lately?

Post here, and don't worry if it's something everyone else has tried--if it's new to you, it's all good:

I'll start - Tuaca.

I had my first Tuaca lemon drop--followed by 3 more. This was a very nice drink until it caught up to me. Kinda sweet, kinda girlie (big deal), it was a real nice taste and better feeling.

No ill effects the next morning--even though it was only 4 drinks.

I'm going to be in Calgary for the January Nashville game and I can't decide if I should try a Heroin Beer!

I had some Chilean liquor a while back. Pisco or something. Like rye, but with less bite.

The question is not if, it is how many.

I tried a Caipirinha at Goucho. It's kind of like a Brazillian Mojito, but better. Sweet, lemony, fizzy and a nice kick. Pretty awesome drink.

I had aguardiente (I can't believe I spelt that right on the first try) a little while ago. Really, really good stuff. A lot like Sambuca, but much smoother and a way higher alcohol content. Delicious stuff.

I have, but I didn't know Dan Akroyd had anything to do with it.

As far as vodka goes, it tastes like vodka. I can tell that Alberta Vodka shouldn't be used for anything but cleaning brass fixtures, but other than that it all tastes the same to me.

As for the guy wondering if he should try heroin beer, the answer is yes. One before the game, two per period. Seven of those over three hours should do the trick.

I had some Jamaican Rum a few weeks back. The taste stayed in my mouth for around 10 hours, potent stuff.

Old Speckled Hen- It's an English ale. Very smoky, great flavour. It reminds me of Innis & Gunn, but I like this even better. I found it at Willow Park, and I really recommend it.

I tried Skyy vodka for a change from my usual Smirinoff and I really liked it. It's my new favorite.

Aquavit. Frozen like vodka, drunk straight. Had it at a party last weekend and picked up a bottle the next day. Like anisette, but cleaner. The one I had is based on grain alcohol.

I keep waiting for my liquor store to get The Kraken.

I keep passing up the Bakon at the store, it seems like a good idea, but I just can't bring myself to buy a whole bottle.

It's caraway flavoured schnapps. It also comes in dill flavour. When it's frozen and shot, you usually don't taste much of the actual flavour. If you get stuck with a bottle as a gift and can't stand it straight, it actually makes for tasty ceasars in lieu of vodka.

Not necessarily new, but Sailor Jerry spiced rum is very good.

Similar to Captain Morgan in taste, but a bit spicier, stronger, and smoother.
