Just stumbled upon this on the net about what happened with the original three models and Bob Barker on the Price is Right:

I was going to post the same thing.
"Workplace romance" might be the better term, and those are rarely appropriate between a boss and an employee, but I wouldn't use the term "affair" here.

I always thought Bob was the devil incarnate. The white hair, and sinister smile. Tempting people with material goods in exchange for their souls. Pure evil.

I believe an affair can refer to just an unwed romance. I notice a lot of older people will use it as a term that refers to people seeing each other casually.

The only reason I ever watched The Price is Right, was Dian Parkinson. Seeing her in a bikini made my day.
