EDMONTON — A drunken Edmonton man who hitched a ride on a slow-moving train nearly froze to death on the weekend when it sped up and he couldn't get off.
The unidentified man, who was partying in Wetaskiwin, climbed aboard the train at about 3 a.m. as it slowly rolled by. He intended to climb off within a few blocks as it neared the place where his car was parked. But the train picked up speed,
