I hope you don't consider this hijacking your thread but how much should I be prepared to pay someone to mud and tape my basement? I read awhile back it is by the sq. foot?
Also, I was going to put up the drywall myself( I know I can do that!) if it is worth my time and savings.

Any help is appreciated!
