Default Who's the next Top 6 (scoring fwd) callup??

For people who follow the heat, I haven't seen the forward version of the thread rating each defender thus far this season, hence the thread.

Should the flames come by injury or just the need for a shake up, who's the next guy to be given a shot to jump into the flames top 6 this year?

Backlund? Haven't heard much about this guy, and his stats seem to be a bit disappointing.

Chucko? His time with the big club in the past has been extremely disappointing.

Jaffray? I assume him to be more of a bottom 6 call up.

Lundmark? Already been called up, did a decent job. Is he the best option?

I sort of know what lundmark brings, so would prefer thoughts on other heat fwd's.

Thanks in advance.

Jaffray would do better in a top 6 role. Backlund just doesnt have it right now. Lundmark is the only guy besides Jaffray that wouldnt be over his head playing against tougher top 6 competition.

Lundmark is probably the best, and only real option right now. Backlund I would say gets second shot, but he definitely need more experience.
Jaffray would be first call up for a bottom 6 role I do believe, with Sutter, Chucko, then van Der Gulik should more be needed

Jaffray has looked miles ahead of both Lundmark and Backlund playing on the top line of Abby. He seems to be one of the only forwards that gives 100% every game, no matter what. He plays PP, PK and crashes the net and snipes goals as needed. He is a much better option than Backlund, and maybe even Lundmark, though Lundmark is more proven.

I'm working on the second part of my thread (forward edition). It'll be out soon.

Just a tip on Jaffray from watching him with the Moose and the Canucks the last few years

He is one of those guys that is too good for the AHL but not good enough for the NHL if that makes sense. He was always a 1st line guy with the Moose but 90% of the games he played with the Canucks he was invisible.
