Habs acquire former defenseman
The Habs and Isles have hooked up on a deal:

Aaron Ness (2nd Rnd, 40th Overall 2008)
The Habs have been looking for a d-man who can perform on the PP and Martin has solid PA ratings, as well as good DF. It kinda sucks Martin has been out most of the year with the Devils, but we'll worry about that next year. The Islanders get Seidenberg who is playing top minutes in FLA, along with two very good prospects. Palmeiri will be a key piece with Team USA this year and Ness is a slick-skating d-man who impressed at the Isles camp this year.
