I thought Adventureland was pretty awesome, is it better than that (or even comparable)?

I thought it was pretty much hilarious. How can you not like a show with Jane Lynch in it.

Didn't it actually debut earlier in the summer? I remember my wife watched the first bit, but than turned away. But she gave it another chance tonight and watched the whole thing. Looks like I could have even more competition if I want to watch sports.

There should be a sub-forum for TV shows.
My glee quickly faded when I read the OP and realized I wasn't able to share my thoughts on the energetic, overjoyed feeling.

Oh wtf, I didn't realize this was a TV show. I'd always thought it was going to be a movie...
Hmm, I'll have to check this out. Maybe I'm thinking about something completely different.

I watched half of it when it was on in the spring, and then again tonight. It was pretty good I guess, time will tell. It would probably be the best show ever if I were a 17 year old girl though.

Oh, I guess I missed it earlier in the summer.
I hope it'll continue to be good. I'm not going to lie, I enjoyed the Journey music selection at the end. Anyways, I was pleasantly surprised because I usually find pilot episodes are pretty bad, and this one wasn't (IMO).

Yeah, saw the white text. I honestly have no idea what this show is. My final post in this thread, I'll leave it to people who know what the show is.

Agreed. Seems like 1/2 of page 1 is shows now (True Blood, Big Brother 132 etc.)
Not that I have a problem discussing shows (will do when Lost begins again) but think a sub forum would be a great place for them

I thought it was kinda "meh". The pacing was really, really weird; it felt like there were entire scenes missing from the show that would have better explained what was happening. I suppose I'll give it a few more episodes.
One thing I really liked about it though is all the Heroes actors in it: Jayma Mays, Jessalyn Gilsig, Stephen Tobolowsky.

Ya I watched the premiere earlier this summer. I think it resumes on Sept. 9th.
I loved it and am excited for this season. I was keen to see it because I was a big fan of 'Nip/Tuck' (I say 'was' because it's totally lost the plot), and I know Ryan Murphy spent a long time working on this.
The musical aspect is going to turn away some people. But it's clever, sarcastic, and well-acted. And I read that Murphy is spending an inordinate amount of time selecting songs for the show which, fans of Nip/Tuck will know, is one of his many fortes.
And yes, Jane Lynch rules. She could read the phone book and make me laugh. Apparently she has left 'Party Down' - another great new comedy - for a full-time spot on 'Glee'.

You should download Party Down. She left Party Down for this show unfortunately but was replaced by Stiffler's mom.
Also Stars Martin Starr, Ken Marino, the ###### bag brother from Step Brothers and Ken Jeong.
It was my favorite new show from last year.

I really enjoyed it when they debuted the pilot in May, but I'll have to watch it again before the season start in September. Ryan Murphy also made the show "Popular" which was pretty bizarre show about high school. And Cory Monteith who plays the football player was born in Calgary.
