Default Fan 960 "listen live" link won't work, need help

In either FF or IE. With or without add-ons.

In FF the window pops up and then it just says done but nothing happens.

In IE the window pops up and it says connecting to media for a while and then nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

People think I'm enough of a ###### on CP without being associated with you.

Plus, you'll make fun of the Riders.

I think if you change the URL from 12 to 13, it might work.

Seriously though, take the Link or IP address and put it into VLC.

What about my anti-virus?

I don't think it can be a soundcard issue. During the CFL West Final I listened to both QR77 and CKRM of the Stamps-Riders game when the broadcast was delayed so I know I can stream audio.

what are you using for AV? try disabling it, then loading the link. also, you might want to try insgtalling the new media player, perhaps the old one has issues

Disabled anti virus and it didn't help. I have most recent media player.

Also, I can listen to the audio on demand from the 960 site. I am listening to the Dion PG interview right now.

Still not getting it to work.

I believe it is a Windows Media Player issue because I can't listen to any streaming audio that uses WMP. To listen to Flames games I have to use the abomination that is the link from the Flames site to Fan 960 which always sounds like total crap.

I tried re-DLing WMP 11 but it didn't help.

Any other suggestions?

Not sure exactly what I did but I fixed it. I right clicked and effed around with the network options settings in WMP and now it is working.
