Christmas poker tourneys in Calgary
Not related to the poker league thread.
My dad, brother and brother-in-law will not be making the holiday trip to Vegas this year. As such, we thought it'd be a good idea to at least go out one day to a local tourney to play together. However, I'm far removed from the poker tourney scene here in Calgary. I remember Cash used to have a $30 tourney every day at 1 p.m. Do they still do that?
Anyway, was wondering if anyone knows of some good holiday tourneys coming up? We're not looking for big, $500 buy-in ones, probably not much more than $100.
I know I could cold-call every poker room in the city for dates etc, but this way seems to always work better.
