Default Screen Actors Guild reject video game voice actor contract. Reasons within.

Personally, I would quit my current job and take a $30k paycut to be a regular video game voice actor.

Hell, for anything Bioware, I would work for expenses.

Definitely siding with the video-game voice-actors on this one. Difficult, technically challenging and fatiguing work on the voice over extended periods is an incredible feat. Reproducing 20 distinct voices for hours...hell, I'd compare it to a lot of music in regards to technical ability and execution. They deserve to be paid as much as voice actors for cartoons, language dub artists, and commercial voice overs (by scale obviously, and I know the figures don't line up exactly, but there in a ballpark reasonable enough for me).
