would you split the lcd from the pkg for $50?

my parents have a similar computer and a lcd would really clear some desk space for them. they don't really use that computer much (seeing as they have a macbook pro as well) so i can't justify $200 for a brand new lcd but a bargain lcd would suit their needs perfectly
