Coolest Christmas present you ever got as a child.
Johnny 7 Gun O.M.A. (One Man Army)
Best Christmas present ever!
The second best was the electric Slot Car Racing set that my brother and I got. We had hours and hours of fun with that. Dad set it up permanently in the basement on a sheet of elevated plywood. We would sit there for hours racing each other and trying to keep our cars from flying off the track when going around the curves at high speed.

I got a aircraft carrier toy with elastic band powered catapults that would fling two foam planes out about 50 feet.

Besides my Lanny McDonald jersey... it would be my Masters of the Universe fortress. There was an epic battle between Prince Adam aka He-Man and the sinister Skeletor that day.
I think Green Lantern made an appearance too, he seemed to always find his way into my battles.. no matter which toys I was using.
Snake Mountain! That is what it was called.. thank you google.
When I look back on it now.. it sure doesn't look like much, but trust me, there was many battles fought here.

A red Ryder Wagon, a classic for a little boy . . . . . it looks real cool in those ancient home movies.
However, another time I got a tube of modelling glue. I got the model airplane for my birthday, which is four days before Christmas. I think they should have switched them around but that was just my opinion.
Another time I got ski boots for my birthday . . . . when I didn't have skis. I got those for Christmas.

I was never so thrilled as the Christmas when I got a hockey stick and net. I can only dream of replicating that kind of joy for my kids!

A hockey stick and a transformer?
If you had a Christmas from ages 1-12 in Canada, then chances are you have received both of those items

Yeah, but I got the exact ones as shown in those pictures. The transformers were so much better than when my grandma thought I would like a my little pony.

My parents broke the bank for me one year for Christmas and got me this:

I had an agreement that I had to split and stack three chords of firewood before Christmas to get it. I was so popular after I got it.

I'm 32 and I'm jealous. I wanted that so bad when I was a kid.
My best gift was the original NES (Nintendo Entertainment System).
