Battle of the bad goaltending and Kipper out-sucks Nabokov.

Looks like changing up the lines made a difference. The new top line of Eriksson-Koivu-Nash combined for 8pts and 3 goals. The 2nd line of Kopitar-Toews-Selanne had a combined 5 pts...I just hope this continues moving forward.

I am still a little concerned with Ryan Miller's play as of late. Sure we outshot the Avs 48-15, but you can't let in 2 goals on 15 shots.

Either way, it's nice to get back into the win column and more importantly to see Toews start producing again.

That wasn't what I was hoping for. Back to the drawing board.

Pft...speak for yourself....it's only sucky goal tending when you lose.

The top pairing of Jokinene and Frolov do it again. They combine for 3 goals and 3 assists. Conroy and Handzus also chip in with one each.

That's the first game if I recall correctly that has gone to OT for me this year.

Nice to get a win again especially after playing 4 in a row, games like this are few and far between for the Islanders who are having trouble keeping the puck out of the net. Interestingly enough with a 4-2 win we got shutout in the 3 stars. We get a day off than back at for 3 more in a row.

The farm team continues to be ravaged by injuries as we lose Lashoff for a couple weeks, hopefully that injury bug doesn't get caught by the big team.

Weak game by Lou, but at least we salvaged the point. Would have liked to earn the extra one in the shootout but this that is the way it goes. Looks like Price will get his shot next game.

Rangers have been playing some great hockey all year. What I want to know is how the heck your Morale is so high, we have nearly identical points. The Morale thing I still don't quite understand in how it is determined, how it affects play, etc. Either way, the Rangers are definitely a great story so far this year.

^ Morale in Edmonton should be in negatives.
