Cool story from my work (EB Games) today. Just workin' as usual, when a customer comes up to the till. It's a guy looking to pre-order Assassin's Creed 2, so, business as usual. I did happen to notice he was a pretty big African American guy with an unusual American accent though...
So for pre-orders we take your phone number, last name, and first name. Got his number then, last name...
"Copeland"
Thinking in my head, haha, no way. First name...
"Jermaine"
And yes, it was definitely him. I looked up his picture later just to make sure (I don't follow the Stamps closely enough to know them by their face). Told him awesome game yesterday and to PLEASE beat the frikkin Riders so we don't have to hear about it from their fans for a whole year.
So if he's off his game next week, it was too much AC2.
Oh, this is also the second time a Stamps player has come in. I sold a gift card to Sandro Deangelis last year.
