Tiesto
Anyone going to see Tiesto on Thursday or Friday? Voted #1 DJ in the world. First time in Calgary that a DJ this big is playing in a bigger venue at the Big 4. Most DJ's play at Flames Central or the Whiskey.

Was at the big 4 for the Netcandi halloween event. Hope the organization is a lot better than what I experienced.

Saw him in Edmonton last night, it was really good - aside from the fact that if you wanted to stand anywhere close to the front the crowd had no clue what they were doing - lots of needless pushing and shoving.

WOOOOO I will be there!!! Also, he is ranked #2 for the last 3 years.

This is going to be the largest dance event in Calgary's history, with over 5000 people attending on both nights. Should be an epic event. This guy is a multi million dollar business over in Europe and it's fantastic to see him come here and spin.

Frig...I wish I would've got tickets, but alas, I was unable to snag tickets. I've got a couple friends who bought VIP tickets for it though...lucky b*****ds

Yeah I saw him in Ibizia as in September and even though I never really enjoyed that genre of music it was pretty damn catchy (mind you the atmosphere there is pretty unbelievable).

A co-worker was talking about this guy the other day but I have never heard of him. I assume he is a pretty big name in dance/techno/house music these days? She was pretty excited to go see him.

Van Buuren is great as well. I have seen Van Buuren a few times live, have yet to see Tiesto. Paul Van Dyk, now that is a show to see live.

Going to the Friday show. Really excited for it.
Van Buuren's music sounds like the pop dance music all the asian kids that drove tricked out Honda Civics in High School used to listen to. He's got nothing on Tiesto.
