NHL 09 PS2 vs. NHL 09 XBOX 360 Questions

I have not been able to find the answer online, so I thought I would see if anyone here had an explanation...

I have an xbox 360 at home which I have NHL 09 (and 10) and play and enjoy...

I have a small slim PS2 which I bring out to work for when I stay in hotels and camps, using it for DVD player and games...

I recently bought NHL 09 for PS2 (10 bucks, thought might as well) and I cannot believe the differences, now I am not speaking of the skill stick/graphics/AI or anything like that, just curious about...

why are there so many more jersey options in the PS2 vs. Xbox?
The Flames for instance have 80, 81, 95, the black 3rd, the RBK ones...the Coyotes have basically everything that franchise has ever had...could Xbox not included these for some reason?

Why didnt the xbox put the one vs. all offensive zone game into the xbox, it's actually pretty fun, just like playing road hockey or shinny everyone for themselves type of thing

NHL 09 for PS2 is basically NHL 06 with updated rosters, so jerseys have been carried over to each new edition. For the next get versions (360/PS3) they would have had to create all the jerseys from scratch, but I guess they didn't think it was worth the time.

ahh, last hockey game I had before this was the Canadian version NHL 2k5, which is possibly one of the best games I have ever played
