Default WTB PCMCIA 10/100 Network Card

My brother in law has a dead network card in his laptop, so I need to send him another network card. I thought I had a bazillion of them, but I probably decided I would never need them and recycled them.

So what I need is a wired network card that plugs in via PCMCIA.
It must not have a dongle, because if they broke the internal one a dongle won't last 5 minutes.

I would really like one that Windows XP can find the drivers on it's own, but will consider anything.

PM me if you can help me out, and let me know what you want for it.

Thanks guys!

Well, this was looking like great story of the power of CP- within 10 minutes of posting this I had an offer for a free one from Ricosuave. I picked it up, and it was the type of card I had in my mind.

Before sending it half way around the globe I decided I would test it first; seeing as I have the exact same laptop I sent to them. Turns out the laptop we have only has a single height PCMCIA port, and the Xircom card I picked is double height; as it serves as a network card and modem; all in one.

So, a big thanks to Rico for his efforts (and if you want it back I can do that too); but I guess I need to bump this thread on more time before I go out and buy one.

Sorry to hear, Ken. If you find your way back this way in the future, sure I'll take it back, but I'm not going to lose sleep about it....

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

why not get a wireless pcmcia card and use a wireless router? and then tell him to buy a pc that doesn't need 80's technology.
