Default Kitchen plumbing question

Hello CP,

I am going to be renovating my kitchen and am thinking about moving the sink to the opposite side of the room. It is 16 - 17' in distance between the old and new location.

The question is simple. How much slope do I need to provide for the new sink to drain into the old stack properly? I'm concerned that I'm going to have to drop the ceiling height in my basement to accomodate this, or put in a new stack, both options suck.

I couldn't find anything in the building codes so any help would be appreciated.

CGY
