Going to the Canucks - Wings game tonight...go Detroit!
I can't stand the Canucks and I lucked into 3 tickets for tonight's game in Vancouver. I have never been in this position before, not going to lie I am slightly worried but it should be a good time.
Has anybody else seen a game in Vancouver other than the Flames?

Just sell the tickets, with it being the vaunted Red Wings you should be able to turn a pretty nice profit. If you get caught doing this whats going to happen...you can't go to any more Canuck games. Is that really punishment?

Point out loudly all the dives made by the Canucks.

Two years ago my cousin decided that he wanted to have part of his bachelor party at a Canucks game. So somehow he scored 20 tickets to an Oilers-Canucks game.
18 of us had Flames jerseys on. Hilariousness ensued.
I usually feel feel that the random fan who shows up with a jersey of a team that's not playing is a total tool... but I don't regret that one bit.

I've been to a number of Canucks games that weren't against the Flames. What would you be concerned about?
I wouldn't wear a Flames jersey, because I find it ######y to wear a jersey for a team not playing, but I certainly cheer for the other team and it's an enjoyable building to watch a game at. Have fun!

I won't be wearing a Flames jersey mainly because its a pet peeve of mine when someone wears a jersey who isn't playing that night in the venue....drives me nuts.
Selling the tix for a profit is a good idea...maybe we can pull that off.

It'll be a hot ticket seeing as seemingly every single Canucks fan is back on the bandwagon here. Apparently Bobby Lou is back and the Whale is coming up and is going to douse the Flames.
Sigh. I love this city for a lot of reasons.. but man I could do without Canucks fans when they start winning.
That said, I'm going to watch the game with a bunch of buddies that are Canucks fans. I figure i'll tell them about the Calgary Flames Stanley Cup Parade Route I have planned for Robson.

Funny thing is last time I went to a non-Flames game it was Detroit @ Vancouver.
The best part was watching Lidstrom score from centre ice! I hope you get to witness such an event.

Yeah, and maybe there is some type of ticket exchange on a hockey related website or forum where fans can sell tickets to each other, even if it isn't a Canucks site and is say, a Flames site, maybe you can scalp them on there....oh wait.

Acutally, nothing will happen. It's completely legal to scalp tickets in B.C.

Conclusions so far:
- GM Place is nice
- wings need a goalie
- that Lou chant is awwwful. Really, every single save?

They start the chant. You finish it with a "ser"
