Help!! . . . Can't find the quote
A while back (within the last two months) someone posted this beautiful quote in one of the threads (could I be more vague) to do with feeling the loss of a loved one worth the pain of getting to having them in your life . . . I'd like to send it to a friend of mine that could probably use it right now but for the life of me I can't find it. I think it may have been in one of the pet threads but my attempts to find it have been futile! If anyone has any clue of what I'm talking about and could point me in the right direction or post the quote again I'd be very grateful!!
Thanks

"Suck it up, buttercup" won't work?
(there ya go JustAnotherGuy) - just reaffirming your faith in CP
On a serious note, I don't think I saw the quote you are referring to, sorry.

I believe it was in regards to HD's loss. Amazing quote but I haven't tracked it down.

Wow, I love the CP community . . . that was a fast response! Unfortunately that wasn't the one I was looking for although it is also beautiful.
It was more recent than that . . . probably within the last 60 days?
Thanks so much for thoes that responded so quickly.

Can you be any more specific? Once you started talking about loss of a loved one that thread came to mind. Maybe check through that thread for another post.
Were they talking about a child or parent or spouse? Was it a male or female poster? Long post, short post?
I'm happy to help, but that description is a needle in a haystack.

I posted this quote at one point:
"A person should be so lucky to have experiences in his life that bring about such happiness, and therefore, bring about such pain when they end."
I heard it on the Shield season 7 DVD special features. Actor Walton Goggins said a friend sent it to him.

Good one expletive-deleted_fan.
That reminds me of the ending to the Rainsins episode of South Park:
Butters: Well yeah, and I'm sad, but at the same time I'm really happy that something could make me feel that sad. It's like, it makes me feel alive, you know? It makes me feel human. And the only way I could feel this sad now is if I felt somethin' really good before. So I have to take the bad with the good, so I guess what I'm feelin' is like a, beautiful sadness.

Tell your friend to not worry, I felt just as sad when the shield ended. One day there will be a show to fill the void

You're welcome. It's a really good quote, but I've never been able to locate the author of it.
