To kick off the launch of our new site, Future Considerations is hosting a free hockey pool, but with a twist. Instead of a draft or a boxed pool, we're doing something a little more in scope with our website.
We focus on prospects from Europe, the NCAA and CHL, as well as those in the AHL and NHL, up until they lose their Calder eligibility. To keep the pool in the scope of what we do, we're having a rookie pool instead. PLEASE NOTE THE POOL IS FREE, with a chance to win an autographed jersey from a top prospect at the end of the season. Win the pool, win the jersey!
The rules are simple.
Pick:
6 Forwards
3 Defensemen
1 Goaltender
The catch is they all have to be eligible for the Calder Trophy. Any player not will be thrown out.
Points are awarded as follows:
Position Players
Goal = 1 Point
Assist = 1 Point
Hat Trick = 2 Bonus Points
Goaltenders
Win = 3 Points
Goal = 100 Points
Assist = 5 Points
