Bell HD - Channels moving to 1050, 1150 range???
Anyone know more about this? I'm about to go look on the Bell website and on digitalhome.ca.

Yea, it doesn't sound too bad, but punching in 4 digits on a remote is kinda going to suck.
If it's in the name of expanding their HD line up though, I'm all for it.

Dear god not one extra botton.
The part that sucks is re-programming all your timers to the new channels. Oh well this just means there will be more HD coming which is great!!

I'm going to strain my thumb reaching for that one extra button, so can it.
That thread the OP linked says they have no more room for new HD channels until they move to MPEG4, which I thought wasn't happening for a few years yet. Either way...Change usually brings good things.

They seem pretty easy to remember, 400 is regular TSN, 1400 is TSN HD. Most of them, you just add a one at the start.

Setting guide to HD only is your friend, I don't even watch SD (rarely anyway)

SD makes baby jesus cry!
How many programs do you watch? I don't think I have ever been close and I usually save 1-2 Flames games.
Why not get an EHD?

I'm not quite that drastic but making my own list has simplified my searching. First I get rid of all the French channels, next all the interactive channels ( they mess up any channel surfing), and lastly all the PPV and unsubscribed channels. If I really want to see them, it's only another click away. These new channels is a bit tedious adding them to my list, but worth it to get rid of the aggravations.
