Default Sports Economics Project

Hey everyone, I am a third year university student, and I am doing a sports economics project on the topic of my choice. I chose to do the competitive balance in the NHL and analyze if the salary cap has helped.

I was wondering if anyone on here could give me some information or help in any way. Numbers, info, facts, websites, books, etc. Anything will help!

Thanks!

Thanks, you're a real help. I'm glad your first-grade education is paying off.

One thing I learned in the first grade was that projects consist of research. Not people doing research for you.

What do you think I am going to do, what on CP until someone does my project for me? I'm obviously doing my own research. I'm asking hockey fans, who know more about the game than anyone else, if they know anything specific about my project. This could open up windows for me, but not complete the entire project. Your argument is terrible, and you must have gone to a terrible primary school.

Not sure if it's relevant, but I can recommend some excellent baseball economics books that have very similar topics to your project. Again, these are for a different sport, but could be worth checking out to potentially get ideas that could be applied to a hockey economic analysis.

Thanks JayP, I have a few baseball books checked out from the school library actually. Appreciate the help though.
