Saskatchewan homes evacuated after train carrying propane tanks derails

SPY HILL, Sask. — Firefighters spent most of Saturday battling a blaze that was sparked when a freight train carrying propane tanks derailed near the Saskatchewan-Manitoba border.

RCMP said they had evacuated a two-kilometre radius around the crash scene for safety purposes, and Transport Canada ordered a six-kilometre no-fly zone around the area.

Hope this remains under control and everyone is okay.
