Multiplayer Offline PS3 Games?

Hey, does anyone know of any good Multiplayer Offline PS3 Games? I've noticed that there haven't been any good multiplayers ones out there. They have only catered to Online mostly. I'm looking for a few games to just sit with a friend and play. Any suggestions? No genre in particular.

Well sport games all have offline MP, if you like em, Madden, NBA, NHL etc

Warhawk, but that one is mostly online (although you can play with your buddy, both of you online.) Pixeljunk monsters/Eden.
