I wish our politicians were like the American ones...really do. I'll take their corruption in trade!

Hillary Clinton suggested ways to strengthen the U.N., while also blasting its absurdities. Clinton affirmed that the U.S. preferred to work within the U.N., but she toughened her speech with ad-libs, warning, "Sometimes we have to act with few or no allies."

The US has done the most to weaken the UN and is indirectly responsible for much of the UN's failings as well.

Where was the US in Rwanda, Burundi, and now the Sudan?

And to be totally fair, if I am going to point fingers at the US, I might as well point them at France and Britain too.

Nope, sorry, jumping to conclusions here. Gotta be registered, and I just can't be bothered.

Everything I've read from the guy is pro-american propaganda, so I assumed this would be the same, considering his opening statement that he wished our politicians were like American ones. Sorry if I made the wrong assumption.

Peronally, I don't like either set of politicians. Come to think of it, I don't think I like any politicians.

Nothing wrong with being Pro-American... it just happens that its often (and loudly) crossed with Pro-Ignorance forces, as every 'side' is prone to.

I see this as being more anti-UN than pro-American, unfortunately.

Where was the rest of the world in Rwanda, Burundi, and at hte current time Sudan. It is really easy to pick on the US, but the failings cannot be attributed to one nation in particular.

EDIT: I see we agree.

Yes you are right. They dragged me down to their level and beat me with experience.

Thanks for reminding me why I left. Didn't read the article and jumped to conclusions....go figure.

Any relation to this fool?

"I didn't read any article you posted because I know there is stuff out there that refutes it" Huh?

I finally had enough of banging my head against a wall!
