Rangers nominatee the following players
Crappy Player of the week...
Patrick Eaves - 15 minutes of ice time and he was minus 5 in one game. That is amazing plus minus for any player

David Clarkson - 61 OV player
3 GP / 1 G / 2 A / 3 PTs / +1
My personal favorite thing he did this week.......David Clarkson beats up Steve Staios at 2:43 of 3rd period

I'm assuming if we still have a few games left we can send in nominations afterwards?

Yes you can send them afterwards. Game 1 was Sunday so game 7 will be on Saturday. I won't announce winners until Monday. I am going to try to run each week from Sunday-Saturday with winners being announced on Mondays.

well we only played 2 games but we don't think that should penalize Dman of the week nominee Mike Green: 2 GP 2 G 3A 5PTS these 5 points all came in a tour de force performance where he played 22 minutes, went + 2 put up 5 points enroute to first star to show up the star studded D of the Ducks we were facing that night

Player of the Week
Danny Heatley
Thru the first week of the season Heatley leads the CPHL in goals, points, shots on goal and +/-. Heatley posted goals in all of the Oilers games totalling 5 goals, 4 assists, and 9 points and a +7 rating. The Oilers won all 4 games and one of those wins featured a shootout winner by Heatley. He was spectacular and clearly the CPHL's top performer in the first 7 days.
Defenceman of the week
Sergei Gonchar
We don't expect him to win since Heatley will. But he had 5 assists and is +6 on the week for the Oilers. He's a modest guy, look at his wife, hardly a bomb shell. His down to earth demeanor is something lacking in todays egotistic flamboyant Russian player, a true good guy.

The Habs would like to nominate the following players:
Player - Rick Nash - 4GP, 3g 3a and a +4. Nash has clicked really well with Getzlaf and they look to put up a lot of points this year.
Goalie - The Habs would like to nominate Ryan Miller; over 3 games he posted a 2-1 record with a .914 SV% and 2.00 GAA. He looks to be a really good fit with the Habs that we're excited about.
Unsung Hero - Eric Perrin (63 OVR) - 2g, 3a for 5 points and a team leading +5, putting up outstanding numbers considering he anchors the 3rd line and doesn't see and PP time. Slava was right, Perrin is a very good SIM player, hopefully it continues.

Crappy team of the weak - Anaheim Ducks
We go 0-2-2 (winless in 4) and to top it off our D core of Pronger, Bouwmeester, Phaneuf, Regehr, Schneider and Lebda give up 7 goals in 1 game in a 7-0 destruction by the Sabres.

I'd like to nominate Goalie Vesa Toskala for player of the week, and goalie of the week.
In 3 games, Vesa has only surrendered 5 goals on 63 shots, for a 1.669 GAA and .921 save %

The Predators have only had three games thus far, and somehow have a winning record! As such we nominate the team for unsung hero of the week...its frankly amazing that we are anywhere near the middle of the pack!
Mikhail Grabovsky gets the nod for us at forward with 4pts in 3games...although clearly that is not enough to compete with the other nominations.
James Neal gets the nomination as our top rookie with 3pts in our first three games.

First Line Centre
|
The easiest week to do this so its not hard to see the Wings have no one to nominate that could possibly win.
Crappy player of the week - 1st line center Brendan Morrow. 4 games played and nothing but 0's across the board.

Yes 60 or so less would be great but most people nominate a player in the low 60s.
