Perhaps a couple new thread icons?

There was just a thread about an article with a bunch of Sutter quotes.

I read the OP and was left wondering if it was Brent or Darryl who said them. Clicking through to the article or reading the thread it quickly becomes obvious who said them, but I can see cases in the future where there could be confusion.

Maybe a thread icon with a picture of Darryl and/or Brent?
Or one the says "GM".

I'm just trying to come up with ways of giving a chance to avoid the potential confusion.

I agree we need some more.

Although, telling the difference between Darryl and Brent in 19x19 pixels may be difficult.

For stuff like icons you want them to be generic enough that they cover the majority of threads, something like a Darryl icon would only apply to a very small percentage of threads.

There's a thread label system that is currently turned off, maybe I'll check that out and see if it is worth using.
