Tellqvist stunk up the bed as we tried to give him some preseason action. Crosby did have a decent game and Laperriere beat up some wussy player on the Kings so we'll take it and move on.

Closer than we would've liked but Lou played another strong game but the horrendous penalty kill improved but still allowed a goal and is now sitting at 50%.

Didn't find any new combos so will have to try new things next game.

Phantoms won their game easily, our 2 future star were great in the game in Frolik and Brassard.

Crap, I didn't get my lines in time....sorry guys. I'll make sure they are in for the next day.

Good to see we won though; we've won all our games so far, I hope this can continue for the regular season.

The second line has been somewhat stagnant unfortunately; I'll have to see if I can move them around a bit.

Shots were 33-23 in favour of the Habs, this seems like more reasonable numbers.

Do we have to send lines in even if were not making any changes?

I really should dress more of my starters. But it is fun benching some vets and seeing how the younger guys can do, see if I have any lucky sim players among the low-lifes.

Nice to get our first win of the season, after some tinkering we may have stumbled onto something here. Fernandez gets the shutout as well.
Good game

That is used for the regular season stands for Points Remaining: gives you the number of points your team needs to clinch a playoff spot.

Ouch I cant seem to find a good strategy for my team. I turned up the offence and it worked (scoring 5 goals) but my defence was just awful letting 8 goals in.

Yes

Not a great outing from the Blues...37 shots against and lost 5-0 to the Jackets. Looks like I'm going to have to crank up the D even more

I'm thinking it just looks like the Blues Suck hard.....Adjust those settings all you like, you'll just lose another way because your team sucks.

That was proper Oilers hockey. Score 8 and give up 5. Just like the boys on the bus liked to play it. Rod Phillips had tears in his eyes watching this display of brillance. Oh glorious Oilers you are the only good thing about Alberta!

Are people relatively happy with what the sim is spitting out now? Probably more offense than the NHL but I think that's OK.

Totals seem to be between what the NHL and our last SIM would spit out. Looks like around 6.25 goals a game or so the last few days. NHL is about 5.75 and the old girl never varied from 6.5. Certainly no need to add any more offence from where it's at.

shots/goals seem fine, but how do I explain a 50% PK to the owners?

In Russia...you'd be doing it in a bodybag or at the Chernobyl site.
