Default Eavestroughs

Does anyone know roughly how much it should cost for new eavestroughs for a house and garage? I called a guy who measured and quoted $731 for the house and $361 for the garage. The house is 1530 square feet split level (the roof has two levels) and the garage is 26x28 (I believe). The price is for the entire replacement, including down spouts. Is this a fair price? I could get another quote, I suppose, but thought someone here might have an idea. I'm not interested in saving a few bucks but just want to know that this is a reasonable price.

That seems fairly reasonable to me. I have to get this done too, so hopefully somebody with experience will chime in.

Not really that expensive. $100 should cover a normal sized house.

Your concern should be what it would cost you if you didn't buy any and put it up.

I assume then that you're installing it yourself, something I'm not willing to do.

Was that the "off the rack" stuff or a custom colour?

I was quoted ~$250 for the materials at Home depot to do my 24X24 garage- getting the colour matched to the existing facia. Turns out a neighbour does eavestroughs and did it for me for around the same price as a "cash deal."

So the OP's quote of $361 for the garage does seem to be inline with what I paid.

Are you getting the plastic clip together trough or the rolled one piece metal one?
