NHL Oldtimers vs Police game

Just had a phone call from the NHL Oldtimers Association

and got asked to play in a charity game in Whitecourt, Ab.

I would be playing back up to none other than Billy Smith.

Oldtimers on the team are, Igor Kravchuk, Cliff Ronning, Gastron Gingras, Bernie Nichols, Bryan Trottier and none other than Gary Leeman.

as well as playing, I get my own Jersey with name/ number on it and then dinner with the NHL Oldtimers afterwards.

All this for the low price of $950.00!

I passed. Although it might have been worth it to ask Gary Leeman, "WHAT DA **CK HAPPENED TO YOU????*

You'd have to pay to be the backup? Doesn't seem fair.

My Dad's proudest hockey moment was playing against Lafleur and Shutt in a game 20 + years ago (before Guy unretired). He scored a goal and boasts to this day that he's "+1 against Lafleur and Shutt".
