The Jackets need to move out a few AHL players and at least one ECHL player as I am over my limits so I need them moved before the watchdog is back in place.
I can also move a couple NHL players as well to make room.
I can move some of them fairly cheap even late draft picks!

OK so far I have gotten rid of most of my Flames.

First I traded Negrin and Wudrick to Florida for a 2nd and 4th.
Negrin was a bit hard to part with but I needed to move people. In return I got a 2nd so that is decent.

Then tonight I traded Dawes and Prust to the Ducks for a 2nd and 2 3rds next year, 2 5ths this year as well as Josh Birkholz and Ryan Button.

Dawes was really hard to move, I really liked him and worked hard to get him when I started here, then he went to the Flames and his stock went through the roof. I figured that will all the offers on him it might be best to move him now in case he does not work out. He may be awesome in Calgary but it can be hard to tell.
As for Prust he is good as well all know but he could be moved.
In return I got a butt load of picks that will help as well as two really good prospects.

Well Dawes is a 60OV and Prust has a 70 some DF so this brings some depth and some Flames players for picks/prospects that we do not consider core to this organization. Thanks to CBJ for the quick talks!
